Eclipse Viewing Party on the Menomonie Library Lawn

On August 21 the first total eclipse of the sun since 1979 will occur in the U.S. While we won’t see a total eclipse here in Menomonie, it will be 85% eclipsed and still exciting to watch. The moon starts its passage between the sun and us at 11:46 am and ends the journey at 2:31 pm. Peak eclipse will be at 1:09 pm.
