Shake It to End Duchenne Zumba Party

A fun dance party to raise money to fight Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Three Menomonie boys are affected with this disease. BodyWorks Athletic Club, The Menomonie High Dance Team, The Stout Dance Team and Red Cedar Dance Company are all donating their time and talents to the cause.

Future Kards Camp

Join the SHB Kards coaches and players for a fun opportunity to brush up on fundamentals before the season starts. Session 1 focuses on throwing and fields. Session 2 will focus on hitting and base running. Cost includes both sessions and a t-shirt.

Adopt-A-Maple Tree

Each participating family/group can visit the sugar shack to see how syrup is made, create a personalized tree marker, and "adopt" a maple tree. Groups can return during the sap run to see how their tree is doing and, after the season is complete, pick up an 8 oz bottle of syrup made by their tree.

A short program to learn the basics of making maple syrup and how to identify a maple tree. Each family or group will decorate a tree marker with their own unique design to leave on their tree after tapping to help families find their tree again; Participants will also get a chance to visit the sugar shack where the sap is made.

Run one or both races. The 5k begins at 10am and the one mile begins at 11am. The races are chip timed by Chicken Chased Timing. Pick up packets as soon as 8:30am. Awards held 11:30am. Complementary chili served inside the school following the race.
