Distance Running

All levels are welcome, but this class is specifically designed for anyone, at any level, interested in running a half or full marathon. Provides you with the training tools to help you on this 14-week journey. Attend either the Tuesday morning or evening lecture, and training runs are on Saturdays.

Beginning Bird Identification

You’ll discover the amazing diversity of birds that the Chippewa Valley has to offer. Each of the three field outings will focus on a separate bird population specific to the Chippewa Valley area: winter and permanent resident birds, migrant waterfowl, and summer resident songbirds.

CPR Certify Eau Claire

CPR Certify Eau Claire is a community movement with the goal of sharing life-saving CPR & AED use, as well as, emergency choking procedures for Adults, Children, and Infants. This course is taught by Licensed Paramedics and State Certified EMS Instructors.

Exhibit Opening Events: "Spirited: Prohibition in America"

The traveling exhibit "Spirited: Prohibition in America" opens with a day of family-friendly activities and presentations. Learn to speak 1920s slang, have a soda fountain treat in the museum's ice cream parlor, go on a scavenger hunt, see a home brewing display, try 1920s games, hear talks about alcohol use yesterday and today, and more.
