WWI and America: Exploring the Great War’s Impact on the Chippewa Valley

This year marks the centennial of U.S. entry into WWI. In the shadow of other 19th century conflicts, our memory of this war is fading. Explore the impact of “the war to end all wars” on the Chippewa Valley. A series of four programs will explore different aspects of this conflict and its impact on our community.

Faith Jacket

While working in refugee camps in the war-torn former Yugoslavia, Tea Rosman-Clark made a commitment to serve those whose lives had been disrupted by conflict. Years later, she founded Green Card Voices, an organization that combats stereotypes by empowering immigrants to tell their stories. Hear how she grew it into the largest library of immigrant stories in the U.S.
