Foster Gallery Exhibition: Color

Unlike a traditional art exhibition, ‘Color’ brings together the work of UW-Eau Claire faculty and community members to prompt the viewer to reflect on how a wide range of scientists and artists think about and use color in their work.

The Two Andersons

The art exhibit will feature works painted en plein air by Matt and Marc Anderson. Their collection of landscape paintings were created on location across Wisconsin. The Andersons, who are not related, do share a kinship in traditional oil painting as well as the inspirational and next-level artistic experience that is painting outdoors.

'Raid, Ouimette, Wyman'. Visiting Artists at 200 Main Gallery

200 Main Gallery Welcomes Visiting Artists, Tiit Raid, George Ouimette and Keith Wyman. Tiit shares his brilliant collection of impressionistic paintings, George is unique with natural items in his ceramic pieces, and Keith, aka, Concrete Pig' has integrated steel, wood and concrete to create truly artistic benches, tables and more.

Sculpture Tour Eau Claire

Enjoy this outdoor, interactive, free exhibit of sculptures displayed nearly year-round, twenty-four hours a day. The sculptures are owned by the artists who created them and are loaned to Eau Claire’s exhibit for 48-50 weeks. Each May a new set of sculptures arrives in the Eau Claire community for display and enjoyment.

Ink & Paper

The Volume One Gallery & Local Store in Eau Claire hosts this gift-worthy local print sale in November and December each year. Focused on selling affordable, mostly unframed works, the sale features more than 500 pieces of 2D work on paper from nearly 100 artists.

Art Exhibition: "Strange Children" by Kim Vaughter

Childlike colors and characters are thrown into awkward environments. Maturity found in adulthood and immaturity found in children's innocence is explored in Strange Children. Kim Vaughter is a painter and fabric artist living in La Crosse, Wisconsin. She enjoys colorful things, children, and red lipstick.

Valley Art Association – Annual Member Exhibit/Show

No cost for admission to the exhibit. There will be artwork available for sale. The theme of the exhibit is "Happy Accidents,"  which is defined as focusing on art planned one way and for some reason the finished piece was different than what had been originally envisioned.
