Them Coulee Boys are sure to kick down an equal dose of punk-folk calamity and Americana balladry. Greg Gilbertson’s new project, “Surviving the Echoes,” expertly balances dark themes of war and depression with a promise of hard-scrabble grace in the face of cynicism. The Sounds Like Summer Concert Series is Volume One's Thursday night gig in downtown Eau Claire's Phoenix Park.
