Features 16 talented teams from the Upper Midwest. Hosted at Altoona High School. Preliminary competition begins at 8:30am, and the finalists go on at 6:30pm.

ECCO's annual free family concert. Maestro Frank A. Watkins conducts Prokokiev's "Peter and the Wolf" and Vivaldi's "Cello Concerto" featuring students from the Cello Connection. Event includes a musical instrument "petting zoo", crafts, refreshments and music by Mozart and Haydn.

Eggplant Heroes is an Americana collaboration among Duffy Duyfhuizen, Max Garland, Joel Pace, Olaf Lind, Caleb Horne, Dan Zerr, and Lucas Fischer. Hensley’s alias and alter ego, Love Songs For Angry Men, was born to get people talking and through the doors. Now it’s is the title of his first solo effort and also used as a general band name.
