Kickoff Fundraiser for The Foyer, A Nonprofit Sober Bar

See the Academy Award nominated documentary "Knife Skills" and support The Foyer, a nonprofit sober bar that will be located in the lobby of the State Theater. The Foyer will be peer-run by people involved in the justice system, offering an informal public place for community building, civic engagement, and social relaxation. A tavern without alcohol.

Annual Candlelight Ski and Hike

Cross-Country Ski the candlelit Red Cedar State Trail from the depot to the lit ice wall. Snowshoe the candlelit trail in Riverside Park. Hike the candlelit Junction City Trail. Free hot chocolate, door prizes, bonfire. Bring your own skis for the red cedar trail, or a limited are available for rental at Stout Adventures. Snowshoes provided.

Mr. Chair's quartet is piano, bass, drums, and trombone. The music is a mixture of classical, jazz, and rock. Mark Hetzler plays trombone through guitar pedals.
