2nd Annual Midwest Weirdfest

Midwest Weirdfest returns to downtown Eau Claire for its second annual celebration of the fantastic, frightening, offbeat, and just plain weird. . Go on a twisting, terrifying, weird, and at times hilarious journey through the cutting-edge of this season's original horror, sci-fi, underground, and documentary films.

The Eau Claire Curling Club is the host for the 2018 USA College Curling Championships. This is a United States Curling Association sanctioned event. The top 16 college curling teams in the United States are invited each year to the national championship event.

Sound Meditation: Shaamaahs

ShaamaahS is a solo project developed simply through a desire to create a primordial sound that has the ability to engage a phenomenon called “sympathetic resonance”. This primordial sound meditation involves Kargyraa / Dag Kargyraa Throat Singing, matched octave Chakra specific Singing Bowls, and a Shruti Box.

What a Wonderful World - Annual Concert by the Chippewa Valley Community Chorus

Based at the Heyde Center for the Arts, members of the chorus come from throughout the Chippewa Valley to participate under the direction of Cathy Reitz and accompanied by Anne Kubiatowicz. The Chorus holds rehearsals on Tuesday evenings beginning after the first of the year and performs in the early spring.
