Antique Appraisal Event with Mark Moran

Accepted items include: fine art, furniture, ceramics, glassware, vintage photos, ads, folk art, toys, metal ware, clocks, costume jewelry and more items. The following are excluded from appraisal: all weapons (except knives with advertisement), coins & money, Beanie Babies, fine jewelry, precious gems, beanie babies, and nazi memorabilia.

Claudia Schmidt

Schmidt weaves her way through her concert in much the same manner as a jester. Featuring her 12-string guitar, she explores folk, blues, & jazz, weaving in anecdotes, revealing her past and present. The concert is an endless display of self-realization through humor and longing, leaving audience members yearning to become an integral part of her world.

Conversation on Islam

Members of the Islamic Center of Altoona will talk at the Unitarian Society of Menomonie about aspects of Islam, including Islam and feminism, brief discussion of Shariah, and answer questions about Islam. The focus is to help listeners learn more about the Islamic faith.
