Young Brothers Art Show

Joe Young creates art from what he sees around him; botanicals, landscapes and people. Primarily working in oil, he also uses watercolor and charcoal. He trained at Goddard College and The Vermont Studio School.

Northern Saw-whet Owl Banding Training

This workshop will provide volunteers with the knowledge and training to participate in the Saw-whet Owl Banding program and find the role they are most comfortable participating in. The Owl Banding program occurs several nights a week from 7pm until approximately1 am, beginning late September through early November.

Yoga on a Budget

This class will focus on linking breath with movement. It is a moderately paced class that offers demonstrations and verbal cues. It is great for beginner practitioners as well as those looking to refresh their practice. The room will be heated using infrared heat panels to 90 degrees.

Wellness Days for Hmong Elders

Each 4-hours wellness days includes an exercise class, healthy lunch, health-related presentations, and unstructured social time. Menomonie Farmers Market

Since 2000, this market has seen a remarkable growth in participation and sales. Farmer participation has increased from an average of 3-4 vendors in past seasons to 20 vendors at the peak of the summer harvest. Eva Schloss, Holocaust Survivor-No Asylum

The recently discovered letters of Anne Frank's father, Otto Frank, reveal new information about the family's struggle to obtain visas to save themselves from the clutches of the Nazis. "No Asylum", which is something of a prequel to Anne's iconic diary, shares unknown details of the Frank family's story before they went into hiding in the attic, and is a call to action for tolerance and respect.
