WPR Trip to Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua

Wisconsin Public Radio’s annual overnight bus trip to Chequamegon Bay for Big Top Chautauqua. Highlights of the trip include a special picnic dinner at WPR VIP reception, front row seats radio play productions, a visit to historic La Pointe island, shopping trips, exploring, and eating around Hayward. Bus leaves from Eau Claire, as well as several other cities.

Community Yoga at Menomonie Public Library

Free community yoga on the library lawn, weather permitting, otherwise in the library meeting room. Designed to accommodate practitioners of all levels. Covers postures, philosophies and guided relaxation. Teresa Kruger, a 200 certified yoga and meditation instructor will be leading the class.

Yoga on a Budget

This class will focus on linking breath with movement. It is a moderately paced class that offers demonstrations and verbal cues. It is great for beginner practitioners as well as those looking to refresh their practice. The room will be heated using infrared heat panels to 90 degrees.

Wellness Days for Hmong Elders

Each 4-hours wellness days includes an exercise class, healthy lunch, health-related presentations, and unstructured social time. The goal is to enhance Hmong elders' quality of life by providing programming that reduces social isolation, increases physical and mental health literacy, and improve English proficiency.

UW-Stout End of the Year Juried Student Show

The End of the Year Juried Student Show will be up for the entire summer. This show consists of works in a variety of disciplines and media created by fine art majors from UW-Stout's School of Art & Design. The exhibit can be viewed during the venue's summer hours, by appointment and special events. The show will remain up until September 9th.

The Teddy Bear Golf Outing benefits the Children's Dyslexia Center of Upper Wisconsin. Golf includes 18 holes, cart, lunch, non-alcoholic beverages, and dinner. In honor of the Total Solar Eclipse happening August 21, the Museum planetarium show will feature the biggest star in the solar system, the sun.
