Summer Writing Camp

Learn creative techniques, interactive storytelling, technology tips, and tricks from experts as you uncover your writing potential. Learn how to uncover your own writing voice, interactive storytelling techniques, genre-specific lessons, collaborative writing activities, and creative storytelling processes.

Biomedical and Kinesiology Camp

Students will have the opportunity to explore biology, anatomy and physiology, and kinesiology. Students will visit with professionals in bio-medical and kinesiology fields to learn more about careers. Students will also have the opportunity to complete experiments and study health and wellness concepts

Wellness Days for Hmong Elders

Each 4-hours wellness days includes an exercise class, healthy lunch, health-related presentations, and unstructured social time. The goal is to enhance Hmong elders' quality of life by providing programming that reduces social isolation, increases physical and mental health literacy, and improve English proficiency.

UW-Stout End of the Year Juried Student Show

The End of the Year Juried Student Show will be up for the entire summer. This show consists of works in a variety of disciplines and media created by fine art majors from UW-Stout's School of Art & Design. The exhibit can be viewed during the venue's summer hours, by appointment and special events. The show will remain up until September 9th.

Menomonie Farmers Market

Since 2000, this market has seen a remarkable growth in participation and sales. Farmer participation has increased from an average of 3-4 vendors in past seasons to 20 vendors at the peak of the summer harvest. A typical market day this past season had 15-20 farmers selling everything from vegetables to fruit, eggs, meats and handmade crafts.

Kids Collaborative Bowl Making on the Wheel
