Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival 2017

The third coming of Eau Claire's newest music and arts festival, Eaux Claires is curated by Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and Aaron Dessner of The National. The ground will be illuminated from ridge to riverside. There will be diverse bands cycling through three stages, roving bands, film screenings, art & interactive displays, food vendors from across the Midwest, and of course a beer garden.

Hallie Optimist Golf Ball Scramble and Golf Ball Drop

Enjoy 18 holes of golf with special hole events, a picnic luncheon, prizes, and a silent auction. At the end of the event, a helicopter will fly marked golf balls above the green and drop them. If your numbered golf ball is closest to the tee you will win cash! Proceeds help the Hallie Optimist fund youth programs.

Menomonie Farmers Market

Since 2000, this market has seen a remarkable growth in participation and sales. Farmer participation has increased from an average of 3-4 vendors in past seasons to 20 vendors at the peak of the summer harvest. A typical market day this past season had 15-20 farmers selling everything from vegetables to fruit, eggs, meats and handmade crafts.

Thin Mint Sprint 5k/10k and Kids Shortbread Shuffle

This 5K fun run/walk is a celebration of Girl Scouts, being active, and community involvement. The chip-timed race begins at 8:30 am in front of the Pine Pavilion in Carson Park in Eau Claire, WI and is open to anyone. After the race, there will be DJ entertainment, inflatables, and a community expo showcasing their sponsors and partners. A half-mile Shortbread Shuffle kids run will start at 8 am.
