Encaustic Painting - The Fusion of Hot wax and Mixed Media

Kay Geraghty's Encaustic is an ancient medium that Greek artists used back as long ago as the 5th century BC for portraits and panels. It consists of natural bees wax and dammar resin (crystallized tree sap).

Wellness Days for Hmong Elders

Each 4-hours wellness days includes an exercise class, healthy lunch, health-related presentations, and unstructured social time. The goal is to enhance Hmong elders' quality of life by providing programming that reduces social isolation, increases physical and mental health literacy, and improve English proficiency.
