Galaudet Gallery Queen Anne Mansion Tours
Experience the architecture, craftsmanship, symbolism and fine art with a Guided Tour of the main floor of this exquisite Queen Anne style building
Where a presidential name built it, an inventor lived in it, a law firm advocated from it and now a fine art gallery continues making history within it, the White House of Eau Claire is a testament to the artistic sensibilities that have been a part of Eau Claire since the 1800’s.
This 1882 building has been so well cared for there is a shining, antique patina on its floors and woodwork since it never had to be restored. The intricate wood carvings, symbolic fireplace and other details as well as the overall sense of history and timelessness offer a one of a kind experience.
The White House is currently being prepared to be proposed as a historic site since it has the architectural wonder, the history making owners and the contribution to the Eau Claire community that historic sites should have while also currently being used as a fine art gallery by Galaudet Gallery.
