Faculty Forum: The Importance of Role Modeling when Teaching Interprofessional Education

The Importance of Role Modeling when Teaching Interprofessional Education. Presented by Meg Lagunas, UWEC professor of Nursing. Teaching Interprofessional Education (IPE), a type of learning in which students learn "about, from, and with each other to enable effective collaborative and improve health outcomes" (World Health Organization, 2010), requires the educator to not just present knowledge and opportunity to practice but also active role modeling.  Come participate in a discussion about what role modeling in an IPE classroom looks like and how an educator can use role modeling in their classroom.
