Marsha and Rudy decide to get the Poznarski clan together for the holidays. Wrapped in Pride: Ghanaian Kente and African American Identity
The brightly colored, geometrically patterned cloth called kente, made by the Asante peoples of Ghana and the Ewe peoples of Ghana and Togo, is the best known of all African textiles. Kente is a symbol of African pride and a powerful cultural icon. Examples, photographs and video are all part of this exhibit.
