Join us for a discussion and signing with local author Gene Brotzman. Brotzman, a retired school principal, tells the true story of a 1932 Plymouth PA Rumble Seat Coupe (“Greenie”) that belonged to his nephew Greg Nelson for a time. When Greg returned from Vietnam, he and his wife rented a modest home in Eau Claire, storing “Greenie” in the garage. It was there that “Greenie” was illegally appropriated by the property owner, Olga Jensen Norbey, in March of 1974.

Gallery 111 Presents "S/he," a compilation of abstract paintings by local artists. These paintings are created in an ambiguous fashion, lending the viewer a multi-thought interpretation. Similar to the letter sequence "S/he," these paintings leave interpretation up to the viewer.

Unconscious vs. Consciousness: Erik Natti and Jeremy Anderson
Jeremy Anderson is a photographer from the Chippewa Valley who experiments with various vintage cameras and types of films, intending to show that the world can look very peculiar through a slightly different viewfinder. Erik Natti, a local Eau Claire artist, is an abstract expressionist painter combining watercolor with acrylic and pastel in his paintings. If needed, check venue for hours.
