Eric Lee & Jason Lanka Art Exhibit
Eric Lee will feature his recent large paintings as well as those of the past three years. This same exhibition was featured during the 2009 Gallery Nights in Madison at State Street Gallery, and includes the 20ft. project: Building and Unbuilding the Globe. Jason Lanka is UWEC's new Assistant Professor in Sculpture. February Artist of the Month: Justin Dancing Hawk

Wrapped in Pride: Ghanaian Kente and African American Identity
The brightly colored, geometrically patterned cloth called kente, made by the Asante peoples of Ghana and the Ewe peoples of Ghana and Togo, is the best known of all African textiles. Kente is a symbol of African pride and a powerful cultural icon. Examples, photographs and video are all part of this exhibit.

Holy Mackerel: The Artwork of Ivy, Emma and Sandra Klinbeil
What happens when three very talented members of one family exhibit in the same space? Ivy creates multi-layed, textural and surreal digital images that strive to synthesize the old with the new, without ever losing sight of appearing "hand-made". Emma's paintings reference "strange places in time - in childhood - where you know you've seen a monster behind the shower curtain, or your pet cat talked for a split second". Sandra paints contemporary devotional portraits.
