Painters, photographers, fabric artists and others come together to hear guest speakers on many topics of interest to artists.

Private Soldiers: A Year in Iraq with a Wisconsin National Guard Unit
This exhibit honors Wisconsin's participants in the Iraq War and helps viewers understand the conflict's human side. "Private Soldiers" is an exhibit version of a Wisconsin Historical Society Press book of the same name. The exhibit showcases photographs and text provided by three members of the Wisconsin Army National Guard's 2-127th Infantry Battalion. This compelling firsthand documentation chronicles the battalion's yearlong deployment from the unique perspective of the soldiers themselves. Through the candid prose of Capt. Benjamin Buchholz and the vivid camera work of Lt. Nathan Olson and Staff Sgt. Joseph Streeter, "Private Soldiers" captures the experiences of these citizen soldiers from training and deployment to their unique mission to their return to homes, jobs, and families. Their mission took them into the most dangerous regions of Iraq, where they withstood hundreds of attacks, saw dozens wounded, and lost three members killed in action.

This was NOT a flea market. My girlfriend and I drove all the way to Cadott to find a tent and two guys selling fireworks and overpriced purses.
