Downtown Canyon

This is on Gray St in dowtown EC. Right in front of the noble Fedral Building with the big stone eagle on top. My bike does not like it. How the hell does a crater like ths happen? The city has really got to remedy this stuff.

Still can't find a street you’d call “horrible,” Mike?

I still say go take a look at 1st st. between
Platt and the old train tracks heading toward the
north crossing.
They have a section dug up for construction on a
cross street, but you can still tell the rest of
the road is in extreamly poor shape. This road has
been like that for at least 7 years(since I moved
into this neighborhood) with only the major
potholes getting asphalt dumped into them to make
a real interesting ride. Why has this road been
neglected for so long? I'd really like to know.

This patch of street began to break up up within
a couple of years after the street was redone,
evidently a bad load of concrete as the rest of
the street is doing well.
