Most Inspired/Interesting Restaurant Atmosphere

1st Place: The Classic Garage
2nd Place: The Livery
3rd Place: Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse

The Classic Garage (2111 Third St., Eau Claire), one of Eau Claire’s newest (and best) restaurants takes you back to the 1950s with the vintage ads, retro décor, and ever-changing display of super shiny classic cars parked out front (and inside). It’s a dream come true for gearheads and burger enthusiasts alike. The Livery (316 Wisconsin St., Eau Claire) continues to inspire conversation with the horse heads and large cowboy prints on the walls, as well as the brick bonfire pit on the spacious and comfortable patio. Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse (4751 Owen Ayres Court, Eau Claire) is another new-ish kid in town. Knock back martinis in swanky blue bar lighting or gaze lovingly at your pasta at a candlelit table, under soft chandelier lights in the dining room. —Amanda Foxcroft
