Best Local Book Released In The Last Year

Set in rural Wisconsin and taking on the topics of faith, family, and community, Little Faith by Nickolas Butler was chosen as Volume One readers’ Favorite Local Book Released in 2019. After grabbing the Valley’s votes last year for the first volume, Brian L. Blakeley’s follow-up, A History of Eau Claire, Wisconsin-Volume II: The Manufacturing Age, has again made it in the top three. Rounding out the category is B.J. Hollars’ Midwestern Strange, an exploration of the “weird” phenomena around us and how it affects our culture. – Kellie Williams
