1st Place: Irvine Park Zoo
2nd Place: Downtown farmers market
3rd Place: Sounds Like Summer Concerts

The Chippewa Valley is an extremely affordable places to live, and here are three reasons why. The Irvine Park Zoo in Chippewa Falls is home to a wide range of animals, including a ring-tailed lemur, tigers, bears, and more; visiting the zoo is a great way to spend your afternoon. Meanwhile, the farmer’s market at Phoenix Park is one of the best ways to feel a sense of community. With dozens of local venders and live music, this is a wonderful place to check out even if you’re not shopping for groceries. Finally, at the Sounds like Summer Concert Series folks can enjoy a free concert in Phoenix Park every Thursday all summer long. It’s a great way to have fun and enjoy some of our local artists. –Mike Seitz
