Best Golf Course

1st Place: Hickory Hills
2nd Place: Wild Ridge
3rd Place Princeton Valley

It’s obvious that the Chippewa Valley knows what it likes when it comes to golf courses. For the third year in a row, you voted for the same three courses as the best of the best. In first place for the third straight year is Hickory Hills Golf Course, located off Highway 93 just south of Eau Claire. Hickory Hills is a short, 18-hole course that is perfect for beginners and anyone who doesn’t want to spend a fortune on a round of golf. Wild Ridge Golf Course takes second place again this year. This 18-hole course is a little more expensive – and definitely more challenging – than Hickory Hills, but it’s well worth it as a beautiful, fun to play. In third is Princeton Valley Golf Course, a nine-hole course that is a great compromise between our first- and second-place winners in terms of difficulty and price. –Emily Anderson
