At Chester's, the crowd varies depending on the time of day. Midday tends to skew a bit older, but the clientele changes as the night wears on. Plunk yourself down at one of the high top tables and ogle their eagle decor. Their extensive seven-hour happy hour runs from 11am to pm Monday-Friday. Enjoy pool, darts, Wii, and touch-screen games. Two banquet halls are available to rent. Pizza can be ordered after 10pm.

On the surface Clancy's is an Irish bar with parrot decor, but that hardly explains the appeal. Clancy's is a chill bar with a wide variety of clientele, mixed drinks served in mason jars, and one of the best jukeboxes around. Happy hour specials run 3-6pm every day, and there are nightly specials later on. They have pool, darts, and a few retro video games. There's free popcorn and pool, 15-20 specialty beers, and 11 brewery-fresh taps.

Owned and operated through the Wigwam Tavern just down the street, The Depot is a summertime favorite open through midnight Tuesday-Sunday. Come check out all the new renovations at the Elbow Room! They went from five taps to a 10-tap system, and will be adding a new patio and outdoor beer garden this spring. Serves pizza, and is outfitted with a pool table (leagues available Tuesdays and Thursdays) and dart boards. Bean bag, softball, and pool leagues available, and they're always looking to start more. Packer paraphernalia abounds, as does elbow room. Happy hours run Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 4-6pm. Free snacks are available. In winter, Elk Lake is popular because of its proximity to a snowmobile trail; in summer they're known for events like poker runs. Cheap drinks don't hurt their rep, either. Also available are darts, touch-screen games, free popcorn, snacks on game days, three taps, and a party room that holds 30.

A popular spot for weddings, Foxhole is an operation under the Veterans Center of Menomonie that comes complete with an outdoor bar, mini-golf course, driving range, and large banquet hall that can hold 500 people. Their happy hour is weekdays 3-7pm. They have free popcorn, three taps, and big Packer tailgate parties. They also have games and leagues for shuffleboard, pool, and bean bags (indoor). Live music and karaoke also happen occasionally. Pizza and pizza fries are available open to close.

At The Frog Hop – just a skip and a jump off Highway 29 between Lake Wissota and Cadott – they specialize in Old Fashioneds and the melon-flavored Frogalicious. They’ve also got four tap beers as well as a range of specialty brews in bottles. Wednesday bingo is a big draw, and in the summer of 2017 they’re starting horseshoe leagues. Outside there’s patio seating and inside you’ll find pool, darts, and other games, as well as live music and occasional karaoke. The Frog Hop also serves up burgers, steaks, a fish fry, and other bar-and-grill favorites.

Their new European-style beer hall in downtown Eau Claire includes a deck overlooking the Chippewa River and is frequently visited by food trucks.

Come on down to LeRoy's and visit the "best jukebox in town!" It is said LeRoy's on Spring Street has the cheapest beer in town, and they are proud to now have a dozen different kinds of tequila. Choose from a Leinenkugel's specialty brew or two tap beers. Happy hours are from 7-11pm Sunday through Thursday. Indoor games include pool and darts, with leagues for both. If you're hungry late at night, LeRoy's serves pizza and pretzels after 10pm.
