A popular spot for weddings, Foxhole is an operation under the Veterans Center of Menomonie that comes complete with an outdoor bar, mini-golf course, driving range, and large banquet hall that can hold 500 people. At The Frog Hop – just a skip and a jump off Highway 29 between Lake Wissota and Cadott – they specialize in Old Fashioneds and the melon-flavored Frogalicious. They’ve also got four tap beers as well as a range of specialty brews in bottles. Wednesday bingo is a big draw, and in the summer of 2017 they’re starting horseshoe leagues. Big enough to hold parties for 130 people, Rookies Pub is a mixed crowd bar with Leinenkugel's memorabilia and daily specials. The historic downtown building has housed taverns since the 1890s, and is known for the Leinie's mural on the outside. Known for their 25-cent tappers (available Wed. open to close) and their two-for-ones Monday and Tuesday 11am-6pm, with a general Happy Hour from 11am-6pm Monday through Friday. The newly remodeled Menomonie classic is also known as The Buck, and if you forget that the massive mirror above the back bar will remind you. The bar has 20 local and seasonal beers on tap plus frequent drink specials, so you’re sure to find something to wet your whistle. As if the name wasn't enough of an indicator, The Sports Page is all about sports. From the decor and fantasy leagues to the gameday specials and game options. There's darts and video games. There's tap specials on Tuesdays and bottle specials on Thursdays, as well as pitcher specials on Sundays and other specials during sporting events.

If you like bowling, Stout Ale House is the place for you – the bar and tables are even made from old bowling lanes. They have a bowling league as well as open bowling every day. For others, there are indoor games: pool, darts, foosball, and an arcade. They have 16 beers on tap, live music on occasional Saturdays, and dozens of TVs on which to watch the game. Even though sports are almost always on the TVs (including all kinds of satellite and pay-per-view packages), Tailgates isn't just a sports bar. They're just as much a nightlife spot, with live music from area cover bands every weekend, open mic night on Tuesdays featuring the Bear Creek Boys starting in April, plus a DJ on Thursday and Friday, all in a huge stage area with a dance floor. Happy hours are weekdays 3-6pm. There are 15 beers on tap, and tons of specials. The outdoor patio includes a few tables and a volleyball court, where they have summer leagues on Tuesday along with bean bags. There's also pool, darts, beer ball, and poker machines.

Fun and laid back, Tip Top mostly plays host to a crowd of regulars at its U-shaped bar. They carry four to five specialty beers and four beers on tap.
