At The Frog Hop – just a skip and a jump off Highway 29 between Lake Wissota and Cadott – they specialize in Old Fashioneds and the melon-flavored Frogalicious. They’ve also got four tap beers as well as a range of specialty brews in bottles. Wednesday bingo is a big draw, and in the summer of 2017 they’re starting horseshoe leagues. Outside there’s patio seating and inside you’ll find pool, darts, and other games, as well as live music and occasional karaoke. Food served Wednesday, Friday (fish fry), Saturday, and one Sunday a month (breakfast). My Place is about one thing: great drink prices, pure and simple. Happy hours Monday-Friday 3-6pm, and 12-ounce domestic bottles are $1 on Mondays from 6-11pm. The place has been a tavern for more than a century, and the bartenders are more than accommodating. Dealing exclusively with cans and bottles of beer (including 10 specialties and shorties), My Place also has live rock and blues bands two to five times a month.
