SCREEN TIME. Volume One brought True North: Real Wisconsin Stories Unfolding Live On Stage to the Pablo Center for two sold-out shows on Nov. 16 and 17. The unique show – which blended live storytelling, original live music, a wide variety of multimedia produced by local artists – was Volume One’s first stage production.

THROW YOUR HANDS UP FOR THE TWENTIES. The fifth installment of the Gatsby’s Gala took place throughout UW-Eau Claire’s Davies Center on Friday, Nov. 9. The Gala is a 1920’s themed party with UWEC’s jazz ensembles providing the soundtrack for dancing, costumes, food, and more.

The 30th Annual International Fall Festival spread across downtown Eau Claire’s Barstow Street on Saturday, Sept. 29. The festival places an emphasis on Eau Claire’s international culture, language, food, and music. The Elk Mound High School Marching Band (above) was part of the annual parade.

THEY BOTH FELT IT. Staged by the Eau Claire Children’s Theater at The Oxford theater, Avenue Q is “part flesh, part felt and all heart.” The show (which is meant for mature audiences) won of the Tony “Triple Crown” in 2004 for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book. Shows remain on May 17, 18, and 19.
