If I hadn’t known that Highway 93 was right behind me, I would’ve sworn I was in the yard of a backwoods cabin. That’s how convincing the atmosphere is at the Down to Earth Garden Center.

Now that the county has the results of the jail referendum in hand, it’s possible that the most divisive local issues of the decade may be coming to a close (we’ll see ...). It made us wonder what other issues have created a local divide over the years.

After a little brainstorming, they realized that the Chippewa Falls location could not only be used as a Renaissance Faire, but also a Wild West Show, a Halloween Scream Fest, and possibly host concerts.
