An experienced nonprofit leader in Dunn County has been hired as the new chief executive officer of the Menomonie Chamber of Commerce. Ashley DeMuth, who most recently was executive director of the United Way of Dunn County, will be responsible for recruiting chamber members, managing the nonprofit business organization’s day-to-day operations, creating programming, and otherwise strengthening the Menomonie area’s business community.

“Ashley is an excellent addition to the team and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role,” said Carmen Trimble, president-elect of the chamber’s board of directors. “Her enthusiasm is contagious and we are thrilled she explored our opportunity and accepted our offer.”

DeMuth, who lives in Colfax, is a graduate of UW-Stout in Menomonie and previously was Menomonie center director for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley.
