What better time of the year to be calling for visual artists and floral designers to participate in next spring’s annual Pablo Center’s group exhibit “Fabulous Florals & Fine Art” than when another cold snap is forecast?

The popular five-day exhibit, which will run March 18-22 in the James William Hansen Gallery, will pair visual artwork with floral interpretations of each art piece. Artists are invited to submit images of their completed work for jury competition along with an application no later than Jan. 11. The jury will select more than 25 pieces of artwork and randomly pair florists with pieces of art by selecting names from a hat.

Applications and rules are available now from Rose Dolan-Neill, the Pablo Center’s visual and literary arts manager, at rose@pabloccenter.org or (715) 471-6130. In addition, for those participating floral designers, free ad space will be provided in the gorgeous exhibit booklet.
