Follow the Trail to Hand-Crafted Beverages

Nealy Corcoran |

Each year, multiple breweries, wineries, and distilleries come together for the Craft Beverage Trail tour of the Chippewa Valley. The Trail Guide leads residents and visitors alike to experience beverages crafted by local alcohol producers. Travel the trail any time, or enjoy one of the Annual Pairing Events held in May and August.  What better way to experience the craft beverage producers of the Chippewa Valley than paired with delicious foods? People can travel the trail May 10, 11, and 12 to enjoy specially themed food and beverage pairings. Locations include Northwoods Brewpub, Leinenkugel’s Brewing Company, MoonRidge Brewing Company, and Brewster Bros Brewing and Chippewa River Distillery.  Each ticket allows one person a themed food pairing at each and every Trail Guide location. Tickets are available for sale now. The last day to purchase tickets is Thursday, May 9. To enjoy the trail at any time of year, pick up a Trail Guide at any Chippewa Valley Craft Beverage Trail Guide member location. Trail Guides are free, but there is a $5 purchase required at each location to receive a Trail Guide stamp. Once you receive stamps from all member locations you receive a Trail Guide gift certificate that can be redeemed at any member location. Each year all completed Trail Guides are entered into a grand prize drawing from Cody Limousines that includes a complimentary chauffeured limo ride for up to eight people to visit any Trail Guide member location. While the food pairing events require a ticket purchase, participants can grab a passport any time of year for free.
