Involved in a Charity? Apply for a Community Foundation Grant

V1 Staff |

Are you involved in a local nonprofit organization looking for funding? (Come to think of it, is there any other kind of nonprofit organization?) If your answer to the first question is “yes,” then you should consider applying for a grant through the Eau Claire Community Foundation, which recently began accepting applications for its 2019 grant cycle. Applications, which may be from any tax-exempt nonprofit that serves the Eau Claire community, must be received by Jan. 20, 2019. To learn more about the application process – and to apply online – go to eccommunityfoundation.org, find the “Lasting Impact” tab, and click on “Apply for a Grant.” Potential applicants are also invited to attend one of the foundation’s free grant training sessions, which will be Dec 4 and Jan. 7. (For full details on the training sessions, go to the website and click on “Events.”) If you’re interested in learning more about the grant program, you can also email grants@eccommunityfoundation.org or call (715) 552-3801. The Eau Claire Community Foundation exists to provide a conduit through which donors can address community needs. Last year, the foundation awarded 258 grants totaling more than $4.3 million.
