Lady Laughs Comedy presents “I <3 Funny Women,” a show touring all over the Midwest that brings together some of the best comedians in the region to make you bust out some huge laughs in the face of a male-dominated comedy industry. This progressive, intersectional, and inclusive comedy show makes a stop in Eau Claire at 8pm Thursday, March 22, at The Plus. Lady Laughs Comedy is a group based in Madison that cherishes funny women and aims to “Keep Comedy Female.” Although the tour will be heading out beyond the Midwest, Lady Laughs has five shows slated in Wisconsin and Iowa. Their touring lineup consists of Stevie Leigh Crutcher (Madison), Vickie Lynn (Beloit), Dina Nina Martinez (Madison/Chicago/Los Angeles), and Brittany Tilander (Madison). “Women are hilarious, and it’s magical what happens in female driven and focused comedy spaces,” said Martinez, the Lady Laughs founder. This very special comedy tour features funny performers who represent a number of intersectional backgrounds.
