Jean Arneson's passion is oil painting. She is active in the arts and is the designer for Northwoods Rubber Stamps Company and the Chippewa Falls Christmas Village in Irvine Park.

“Irvine Park Revisited – The Duck Pond” is one of a series of seven oil paintings of Irvine Park in Jean’s hometown of Chippewa Falls. (Northwestern Bank – owner.) The Chippewa Valley provides the perfect canvas for her original oil paintings and drawings, creating unique and personal memories. Jean studied fine art under professional artist Hugh Mandelert. She is the designer of Northwoods Rubber Stamps in Stillwater, Minnesota, and the painted displays in Irvine Park’s Christmas Village. Her artwork can also be seen on the historical Wagner Street wall mural in Chippewa and the tiger mural in Irvine Park. Jean is active in the Hugh Mandelert Art Society, the Valley Art Association, the Heyde Center’s Spring Art Show and the Yellowstone Art Trail. Historical reference photos courtesy of Terry Johnson.
