Masquerade-Style Jubilee Raises Funds for the Arts

Grab your feathers and your masks! It’s time for the Eau Claire Regional Arts Center’s Jubilee. This year – if you haven’t guessed – ECRAC’s annual fundraiser will take the form of a masquerade ball. The celebration will be 6-9pm Thursday, June 9, at the Florian Gardens. Special guest and emcee Sam Lloyd – best known for his role as Ted Buckland in the hit TV series Scrubs – will be joining in the festivities as well! The night will begin with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6:30pm with an exquisite three-course dinner, live auctions, and award ceremony to follow. Thanks to talented local artists, ECRAC has many beautiful and intriguing pieces to auction off this year, including pieces from well-known regional artists such as Jean Accola, David Caradori, Lori Chilefone, Terry Meyer, Anders Shafer, Barbara Shafer, and many more. Thomas Gardner III is this year’s featured artist with his piece, A Blue Sky Proposition. ECRAC is also pleased to announce that 20 percent of funds raised from this year’s event will be given to support the Confluence Center for the Arts Operating Fund, which means your support will help shape the future of the arts in the Chippewa Valley.
