Midwest Emmy Award-winning comedian and magician David Harris is laughing in the New Year with Kevin Cahak and Jodie Maruska at the Metropolis Resort on New Year’s Eve. Hailing from Minneapolis, Harris spent the last 20 years entertaining at top clubs, colleges, and corporate events across the US and Canada. His hilariously creative act covers personal topics such as work, family, relationships, and stress. The night will also feature Cahak, a comedian and Wausau native. Cahak, who debuted nationally on the Showtime documentary Pauly Shore Stands Alone, is best known for his clean take on comedy, family life, and life in general. Local comedian veteran Maruska will host the night. Her homegrown Minnesota humor will leave you in stitches, don’cha know. Dinner and show packages are available; drinks will be served before, during, and after the shows. Attendees need to be 18 to laugh and 21 to drink.
