Nature’s Symphony
Michael Rambo video shows off outdoor instruments at Beaver Creek Reserve
Nature is taking on a new sound at Beaver Creek Reserve outside Fall Creek. In a new, on-location music video, with a sharp clap of his hands and the magic of editing, local musician Michael Rambo (of the MRProject, Shillelagh Lads, and the CollECtive Choir) single-handedly demos how to play each new instrument in the Nature’s Symphony play area at the 3M Nature Nook in his single, “Everything.” (Check it out at volumeone.org/videos.)
“I love having a musical playground to bring my 3 and 5 year old to,’” shared Rambo, “the space begets creativity.”

He starts out on the wooden slat marimba hammock and a tom drum, then moves to a snapping bamboo and mushroom steel tongue drum, followed by a colorful PVC slap pipe organ and chimes, as well as cymbals of red and green.
Connor Drexler, a Beaver Creek marketing intern from UW-Eau Claire, shot the footage and edited it to create the final product.
“We wanted to show visitors how to play the instruments, so we made a music video,“ said Brianne Markin, Beaver Creek’s marketing and development coordinator. “With Michael Rambo’s extraordinary talent, the result is amazing.”
