Tom Giffey |

Some of the best design work by UW-Stout students will be on display through Friday, Feb. 19, at the university’s Furlong Gallery in Menomonie. The Best of Design juried exhibit features outstanding creative work by about 35 UW-Stout undergrads, including interactive design, interior, industrial, comics, game, animation, and film. In addition to tradition displays, the show will also offer space for visitors to sit down and watch time-based media such as animation, games, and films. “It’s a chance for us to share the best of our undergraduate work with the rest of campus and the region,” said Erik Evensen, exhibit organizer and an assistant professor in the department of design. Furlong Gallery, which is inside Micheels Hall, is open 10am-5pm Monday-Thursday, 10am-2pm Friday, noon-4pm Saturday, and is closed Sundays.
