Northwoods Brew Pub Moving to Osseo

For those who love to dine and drink at Northwoods Brew Pub & Grill in Eau Claire, we’ve got good news and bad news. The bad news is that the microbrewery/restaurant, which has operated since 1997 at 3560 Oakwood Mall Drive, is closing its doors effective Nov. 1. The good news is that the business is relocating to a larger facility just down the road in Osseo. The business said the move will help accommodate its desire for growth. “We’re changing our focus to brewing a wider variety of quality craft beers, as well as trying our hand at distilling,” the Oct. 19 statement read. “We will have a small, simple food menu served in a large, open bar environment; with a bar rail, tables, and couches for you to enjoy.” According to the Leader-Telegram, as of Jan. 1 Northwoods will open in 12,000 square feet of a former dairy plant in Osseo. Meanwhile, the soon-to-be-former Northwoods location will reportedly become home to Monk’s Bar & Grill, a Wisconsin Dells-based franchise. Let’s all raise a glass of Floppin’ Crappie and bid Northwoods a fond “bon voyage.”
