Susan Walsh lives in Elk Mound and works part time as a department assistant for Mayo Clinic Health System-Home Health & Hospice in Eau Claire.
“Our empty nest has allowed me time to get back to art. ... I have had many hobbies over the years and have lots of various supplies on hand. A few years ago, I ran across art journaling on Pinterest. I loved the idea of experimenting and practice without pressure to make great works of art. The mixed media aspect allows me to use old art supplies, scrapbook papers, stamping supplies, etc. Working in the art journal has brought about a new confidence to occasionally journey onto canvas.” – The Artist
