20 Minutes or Less Film Festival Calling for Submissions

Zack Katz |

If you haven’t started thinking about your short film for the 20 Minutes or Less Film Festival, you’re probably in good company. But the Heyde Center for the Arts in Chippewa Falls has afforded plenty of breathing room, as the deadline for submissions isn’t until Jan. 12. The free event is “an open call for all filmmakers” including all forms and genres of video media including (but certainly not limited to) comedy, drama, music videos, and documentaries. Bonus points go to regional directors and those with ties to Wisconsin. The festival will be held Saturday, May 9, and if you’ve made the bill of accepted works, you’ll be notified on March 2. Entries should be submitted as two DVD copies with a synopsis of fewer than 200 words included. Submissions may be mailed to: Heyde Center for the Arts, 3 South High St., Chippewa Falls, WI, 54729, ATTN: 20 Mins or Less.
