Meandering through Fall Colors and Art Spaces

Barbara Arnold |

What’s not to like about the leaves changing colors on trees combined with visiting colors of a different sort at art galleries and studios? The gallery owners and studio artists of Northwest Wisconsin are hosting their 5th annual Fall Splendor Art Meander on Fri. Sept. 26 from 1 to 6 pm and Sat. Sept. 27 and Sun. Sept. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm. The route runs from Bloomer to Spooner. Participants include: O’Neil Creek Winery (Bloomer), Lodestar Gallery, Patricia Mayhew Humm at Art Innovations (both of New Auburn) and under one roof: Nancy Erickson-Dutmer, C.J. Conner, and Don Olson (all three of Chetek), The Olive Branch Gallery (Cameron), Paulette Bundich Jewelry (Rice Lake), The Brickyard and the Potter’s Shed (both of Shell Lake), Arts in Hand Gallery, Northwind Book and Fiber, and the Purple Pelican Galley (all three of Spooner). For a brochure with more details and a map (your GPS won’t always work in this area), visit: www.art-meander.com.
