Taking Comedy to the Street
On Friday, April 18, starting at 5:30pm the Eau Claire Comedy Crawl is taking over Barstow Street. This stand-up/improv comedy event will span five different locations including all ages venues Revival-Records and Pizza Plus, and 21+ venues The Mousetrap, Clancy’s, and Wigwam Tavern. Each location will feature different performers, with original material at each show. For just $5 you can buy a wristband (available at Pizza Plus) to receive special deals at each location. Proceeds from the wristbands will go to support Feed the Need, a non-profit initiative that supports community efforts to abolish hunger. Performers will include UW-Eau Claire Backwards Thinkers Society, The Improv Lab, Glassworks Improv, and others. In addition, local standup performers will include Cullen Ryan, Justin Schenck, Jordan Duroe, Christina Wolff, and more.
