2012 Year in Review: UWEC Razes and Raises

V1 Staff |

It’s been a tumultuous year for the UW-Eau Claire campus mall. The green space has been mainly fenced off dirt as the face of the campus is shifting quickly. In the course of the last year, the university tore down the existing Davies Student Center, opened the new Davies and began work (and made quite a bit of progress) on a new education building. While getting around proved to be a hassle (and sometimes near impossible), the progress made and the plans for the future look to be well worth it. The rest of the campus mall and the education building are expected to be finished in 2013.
