The Daredevil Christopher Wright is no stranger to fans of local music here in the Chippewa Valley.  While they are certainly well-known, they have also garnered recognition on the national stage. Recently, they were the subject of “All Songs Considered” on NPR’s website where they were asked to discuss their new release, “Man of the Arts.” The song is a nod to creating art that is honest, regardless of whether or not it gains mass appeal. In the interview with NPR, Jon Sunde from DCW said, “my admiration extends especially to those artists who have crafted a career of exciting and honest music that may or may not lead them to much notoriety, those who are ‘dismissed by the multitudes and revered by the few’.” This sentiment certainly seems to resonate with how DCW operates, as any of their fans would probably tell you. “Man of the Arts” is found on a forthcoming EP that will feature songs from both The Daredevil Christopher Wright and Cuddle Magic.
