Taking Magical Journeys

A. Mitchell Bullard started working on his first novel in 2001, capitalizing on the idea that popped in his head from his tree stand. The Many Magical Journeys of Alexander Wright is a seven book series in similar vein to Harry Potter, The Inheritence Cycle or The Hunger Games. Bullard is influenced by fantasy writers like CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien, but also cites Steinbeck and Hemingway in a stylistic sense. And while the book certainly would attract those interested in epic fantasy, Bullard said, strange as it may sound, he thinks fans of the TV show LOST would enjoy the mystery and slow unveiling of characters’ pasts. The first book is available on the Amazon Kindle Store.
