The newest volume of the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” will feature a story written by a local woman. Eau Claire’s Lonnie Frock wrote a story entitled A Kiss Goodbye. Her story will be published in the upcoming Chicken Soup for the Soul: Messages From Heaven, available in stores Feb. 28. Frock’s story is a heartwarming recollection of a recurring dream Frock had about her father’s death. Frock says she was about 15 when it happened. According to her, this process was all about closure. “When my father passed, I was never able to say a final goodbye to him as he and my mother were separated,” Frock says. The book will be available for purchase at all major bookstores.
